Senior Director, Network Application

As Senior Director, Service Delivery Product Management for Oracle Communications, James Steadman is tasked with establishing and executing business and technology strategy. He leads the product management team with responsibility for all products in the Network Applications Portfolio. With more than 16 years of telecommunications experience, James is well-versed in the business, network and IT aspects of global operators and he has driven adoption of real time communication platform and services, API management and exposure platforms, next-generation technologies such as WebRTC, as well as charging systems and solution. Prior to joining Oracle, James was Chief Architect and Deputy CTO of Ubiquity Software Corp. At Ubiquity, James was an early leader in the adoption and evolution of real time communication services; participating in many standards bodies, including SIP Servlet Specifications, GSMA One API and TMF Catalyst projects.

Currently Darko leads the development for Oracle API Platform - a comprehensive product line which provides enterprises the necessary capabilities to maximize the benefits of API. Prior to working at Oracle, Darko worked at MuleSoft where he lead the product and engineering to implement the Anypoint Exchange & the majority of the content from scratch in addition to working on the MuleSoft API Platform. Prior to MuleSoft he worked at Filepicker.io which is a publicly available, monetized API which has had tens of thousands of consumers and has processed over 30 Billion requests. Prior to Filepicker.io, Darko worked at Barnes and Noble where he lead the personalized shopping initiative to create a customized content selection for each individual customer for the Nook devices and websites by building a new mobile experience and transformation & aggregation API layer on top of 20+ year old legacy systems. Darko also was the Product Manager at Riot Games for the shopping, monetization, and fraud systems for League of Legends, the worlds most popular online real time strategy multiplayer game. His first role out of college was at Microsoft working on the System Center suite for IT infrastructure, asset, and process management.

Gareth Jones is an API architect for the Microsoft Graph - leading the technical strategy for Microsoft's most strategic API, a unified endpoint for accessing data and insights from across Microsoft's portfolio of cloud services. He drives the rationalization and integration of diverse enterprise and consumer workloads across Microsoft's divisions into a coherent, federated whole that developers find delightful and easy to consume.

Previously he was the architect and designer for the OneNote API and before that, an architect in the Visual Studio Application Lifecycle Management group, working on developer services and CodeLens. He is the inventor of T4 templating and co-creator of Microsoft DSL Tools.

In days past, he's worked on bespoke enterprise solutions, web services for small businesses before anyone actually used web services, and created the world's largest touch screen application to simulate a container ship's engine room.

As CTO, Jose set the technical and strategic product direction, leading Tropo to a successful exit in 2015. Juan Carlos Soto is Vice President of Hybrid Cloud Integration and API Economy which includes IBM's API Connect, MQ, IIB, DataPower, and Node.js offerings. Previously he was the CEO at StrongLoop, a leader in Node.js for the Enterprise, which was acquired by IBM in September 2015. Prior to StrongLoop, he led several businesses at Informatica including the Informatica Cloud Business unit growing it from an internal startup operation to a mainstream subscription business recognized as a market leader in the integration platform as a service (iPaaS) category. Prior to Informatica, Juan Carlos worked at Sun Microsystems where he was a member of Sun's Executive Management Group and held various executive positions including Vice President of Cloud Computing and Developer Products Marketing, Vice President of Market Development, and CTO of Software.

Juan Carlos has a Masters Degree in Engineering Management from Stanford University, a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Colorado, and a Bachelors in Computer Engineering from the University of Florida.
